About Me

Hello! I’m Colleen Hussey, and I have had the privilege of serving as the principal of Dr. Crisp Elementary School since July 2023. Every day, I am inspired by the curiosity, creativity, and resilience of our students. My goal is to create a school community where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

I believe strong relationships are at the heart of a thriving school. I work closely with our talented teachers, staff, and families to ensure that every student has access to engaging learning experiences and a safe, welcoming environment.

Education is a team effort, and I am committed to fostering a collaborative, positive culture where students, staff, and families all feel valued and heard.

Personally, I live with my husband and our two children: Madalyn, who is in Grade 4, and Declan, who is in preschool. As a family, we love spending time together—whether traveling, playing outside, or enjoying everyday adventures.

I am thrilled to be part of the Dr. Crisp community and look forward to another fantastic year of learning, growth, and connection!
